About the Allegra

Allegra is a Ferretti 88 luxury motor yacht — Saildeck's largest charter yacht in Mumbai, licensed for up to 40 guests, built for the booking where the boat itself is as much the occasion as whatever you're celebrating. She departs from the Gateway of India in Colaba and runs the harbour's best stretch of water: past the Taj Mahal Palace, along South Mumbai's skyline, and back — the same view everyone on the promenade is photographing, except you're the one on the water.

The charter is a 3-hour signature package: one hour cruising past the city's landmarks, followed by two hours at anchor so your group can actually relax rather than spend the whole booking in transit. At ₹1,40,000 for the full charter, the price is all-in — captain, crew and the jetty-to-yacht transfer are included, with nothing extra to work out before you book. If you're comparing this against an hourly-rate boat elsewhere in our fleet, our guide to what a yacht rental actually costs in Mumbai explains why a flat package like this one is easier to budget for than a per-hour quote that grows once catering and add-ons are factored in.

Allegra is a motor yacht rather than a sailing yacht — a flybridge upper deck with its own helm, lounge seating and a stocked wet bar, an enclosed air-conditioned saloon to retreat to, and four cabins below for guests who want privacy rather than open deck seating throughout. That combination is why she's the boat we point corporate charters toward when the brief is to genuinely impress a client, and why she's a regular request for a milestone proposal or a birthday celebration that calls for more presence than a standard sailboat.

At 40 guests, Allegra is the single largest-capacity boat in Saildeck's fleet — the one to book when a celebration has genuinely outgrown every other option, from a large corporate off-site to a wedding-sized family gathering. Boarding follows the same pattern as the rest of the fleet: a short tender from the jetty near the Gateway of India out to Allegra at anchor, covered in the all-in price. Our guide to Mumbai's departure jetties covers the boarding point in more detail, and our packing list for a yacht charter covers what to bring.

Message us on WhatsApp with your date and guest count to confirm availability — catering, bar service and decoration can all be quoted alongside the ₹1,40,000 charter price, and the sunset slot is the one most people ask for first.

Questions

Allegra frequently asked

The things people ask before booking this boat. If yours is not here, message us — a real person answers.

How much does it cost to charter Allegra?

₹1,40,000 for the full 3-hour charter — one hour cruising and two hours at anchor — for up to 40 guests. The price is all-in, including the captain, crew and the transfer from the jetty to the yacht. An additional hour, catering, decoration and an on-board photographer are quoted separately.

Is the transfer from the jetty included in the price?

Yes. The ₹1,40,000 charter price already includes the tender transfer from the jetty near the Gateway of India out to Allegra at anchor and back — there's no separate transfer charge to budget for.

What does the 3-hour charter actually include?

One hour of cruising past the Gateway of India, the Taj Mahal Palace and South Mumbai's skyline, followed by two hours at anchor so your group can relax on board rather than spend the booking in transit. Captain, crew, life jackets and the jetty transfer are all included.

How many guests can Allegra carry?

Up to 40 guests, fixed by the vessel's coast guard licence — the largest capacity in the Saildeck fleet. Please give us an accurate head count when you enquire, including children and infants.

Is this boat suitable for a corporate event or a milestone celebration?

Yes — the flybridge with its own wet bar, the enclosed saloon and four cabins below give a large group room to spread across several distinct spaces, which is why Allegra is Saildeck's go-to boat for corporate charters, large celebrations and milestone events that have outgrown a smaller boat.

Where do we meet, and how do we get to the yacht?

At the jetty near the Gateway of India in Colaba. A tender then carries you out to Allegra at anchor — this transfer is already included in the ₹1,40,000 charter price.

Can you arrange catering, decoration or a photographer?

Yes — catering from ₹5,000 per guest, decoration from ₹5,000 for a birthday, proposal or anniversary set-up, and an on-board photographer for ₹18,000. Tell us the occasion when you enquire and we'll quote it alongside the charter price.

What happens if the weather is bad on our date?

The captain makes the final call on safety grounds. If the coast guard suspends sailing or conditions are unsafe, we reschedule your charter to another date at no cost.
