On board
The Lagoon 54 is the biggest sailing catamaran in the Saildeck fleet — a 54-foot luxury multihull carrying up to 35 guests, departing from the Gateway of India in Colaba. A twin-hull this size gives an exceptionally stable, wide deck, which is exactly why groups this large book her over anything else in our roster.
The layout runs across three distinct levels: a shaded flybridge lounge up top, a wide aft cockpit with built-in seating, and an enclosed saloon reached by a spiral staircase, with multiple cabins below deck. It's the boat we put forward for a [large corporate offsite](/blog/corporate-yacht-charters-india) or a milestone celebration where the guest list runs into the dozens — see our [guide to group size and boat size](/blog/group-size-boat-size-guide) if you're deciding between her and a smaller boat.
Boarding is by tender from the jetty near the Gateway of India. Pricing is for the whole boat, not per person; message us on WhatsApp with your date and head count for a firm price and a catering quote if you need one.

The captain and crew, fuel for the standard route, life jackets for every guest and the on-board sound system. Catering, bar service, decoration, water sports and extra hours are quoted separately and confirmed before you pay anything.
Up to 35 guests. This is fixed by the vessel's coast guard licence and cannot be exceeded for any reason, so please give us an accurate head count when you enquire — including children and infants.
Two hours on weekends and public holidays, one hour midweek. Island and full-day charters are quoted as a package rather than by the hour.
Boarding is from the jetty, where a tender runs you out to the yacht at anchor — usually about ten minutes. The exact jetty and reporting time are confirmed on your booking sheet the day before.
If the coast guard suspends sailing or the captain judges conditions unsafe, we reschedule your charter to another date at no cost. That call is made on safety grounds, never commercial ones.
Outside food and a cake are generally fine, and we will confirm for this specific boat. Alcohol rules vary by vessel and by the permits in force on the day, so check with us before buying anything.
Weekday charters can often be arranged within the same week. Weekend slots, sunset departures and anything in December need two to three weeks' notice.
Yes — at up to 35 guests she is the largest boat in our fleet and the one we recommend for a corporate offsite, a large milestone celebration or any group that has outgrown a smaller charter.
