About the L3

L3 is a Majesty 44 motor yacht carrying up to 14 guests from the Gateway of India in Colaba, with two genuine cabins below deck — a master with an ensuite and a second guest cabin — rather than the single berth most boats her size carry.

The lower saloon and foredeck lounge give the group somewhere to sit whether the sun is out or not, and the layout below deck makes her one of the more comfortable choices in our fleet for a longer charter or a group that wants privacy to change and rest. This makes her a strong pick for a motor yacht rather than a sailing yacht charter with a [corporate group](/blog/corporate-yacht-charters-india) or a celebration that runs past the usual two-hour slot.

Boarding is by tender from the jetty near the Gateway of India. Pricing is for the whole boat, not per person; message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size for a firm price and a catering or decoration quote.

Questions

L3 frequently asked

The things people ask before booking this boat. If yours is not here, message us — a real person answers.

How much does it cost to charter L3?

Two-hour slots run from ₹17,000 to ₹22,000 depending on the time of day, with sunset slots priced highest. See the pricing table above for every departure time. An additional hour, overnight anchorage and catering are all quoted separately.

What is included in the L3 charter price?

The captain and crew, fuel for the standard route, life jackets for every guest and the on-board sound system. Catering, bar service, decoration, water sports and extra hours are quoted separately and confirmed before you pay anything.

How many guests can the L3 carry?

Up to 14 guests. This is fixed by the vessel's coast guard licence and cannot be exceeded for any reason, so please give us an accurate head count when you enquire — including children and infants.

Is there a minimum booking duration?

Two hours on weekends and public holidays, one hour midweek. Island and full-day charters are quoted as a package rather than by the hour.

How and where do we board?

Boarding is from the jetty, where a tender runs you out to the yacht at anchor — usually about ten minutes. The exact jetty and reporting time are confirmed on your booking sheet the day before.

What happens if the weather is bad on our date?

If the coast guard suspends sailing or the captain judges conditions unsafe, we reschedule your charter to another date at no cost. That call is made on safety grounds, never commercial ones.

Can we bring our own food, cake and decorations?

Outside food and a cake are generally fine, and we will confirm for this specific boat. Alcohol rules vary by vessel and by the permits in force on the day, so check with us before buying anything.

How far in advance should we book?

Weekday charters can often be arranged within the same week. Weekend slots, sunset departures and anything in December need two to three weeks' notice.

Does L3 have two real cabins?

Yes — a master cabin with an ensuite bathroom and a second guest cabin, both with made-up beds rather than bare berths. She's one of the more comfortable boats in our fleet for a longer charter.
