On board
Flo is a 31-foot Jeanneau sailing yacht that carries up to 8 guests from the Gateway of India in Colaba. She has become one of Saildeck's regular choices for [proposals](/blog/how-to-plan-a-proposal-on-a-yacht) and [birthdays](/blog/bachelorette-birthday-parties-on-a-yacht) specifically — the below-deck saloon gives a private spot to lay out a rose-petal message or a decorated cake away from the open deck.
On deck, the cockpit and bow seat a group of eight comfortably for a straightforward sail, and an auxiliary outboard covers the still days alongside her sail. Below deck there is a cabin and saloon table, which is also where we set up any decoration you've arranged in advance.
She suits [families with children](/blog/family-friendly-boating-mumbai-goa) as well as couples — her deck is a manageable size to keep an eye on everyone without the boat feeling crowded at 8 guests. Boarding is by tender from the jetty near the Gateway of India. No sailing experience is needed — a skipper and deckhand run the boat throughout; message us on WhatsApp with your date, group size and occasion for a firm price.

Two hours on weekends and public holidays, one hour midweek. Island and full-day charters are quoted as a package rather than by the hour.
Boarding is from the jetty, where a tender runs you out to the yacht at anchor — usually about ten minutes. The exact jetty and reporting time are confirmed on your booking sheet the day before.
If the coast guard suspends sailing or the captain judges conditions unsafe, we reschedule your charter to another date at no cost. That call is made on safety grounds, never commercial ones.
Outside food and a cake are generally fine, and we will confirm for this specific boat. Alcohol rules vary by vessel and by the permits in force on the day, so check with us before buying anything.
Weekday charters can often be arranged within the same week. Weekend slots, sunset departures and anything in December need two to three weeks' notice.
Yes — rose petals, balloons and a cake in the below-deck saloon are all things we've arranged on this boat before. Tell us the occasion and any names or details when you book.
